Meal 2: Personal cheese pizza with tomatoes at Retiro terminal, not good. Espresso.
Meal 3: Stuffed pizza fugazetta! Awesome, blue cheese empanada, also awesome. Light, flakey and sinful. Random restaurant in Gualeguaychu.
Lots and lots of beer.
Meal 2: 2 slices of cheese pizza (4 pesos!)
Meal 3: Pastry splurge! 2 medialunas salados, a churro relleno con dulce de leche, pastry with raspberry filling, Diet Coke. I've been wanting to try the churro relleno ever since I learned of its existence. This one wasn't particularly impressive, although I'd give one another shot, warm. The raspberry pastry was delicious, and the medialunas were good.
Meal 3.5: Antares Scotch beer...yum! Real beer, after so long...
Meal 4: 2 milanesas de soja con salsa de tomate, queso, vino

Meal 3: corn on the cob, eggplant with tomato sauce and a little cheese, wine
Meal 4: soy milanesa, a little cheese.

Meal 4: WW pasta with canned sauce (tomato and pepper)--zapatillos were rotten. =( Wine. =)
Meal 1: 2 plums, mate
Meal 2: bread with garbanzo spread and tomato
Meal 3: Quiche with tomato, carrots, and mozarella from Supermercado Bahía across from Playa Chica.
Meal 4: Pizza with mozarella, tomatoes, and garlic from restaurant on the corner of Buenos Aires and Gascon. Yummy woodfired crust, good pizza. 9 peso bottle of wine. A place to go back to. (Large pizza, 20 pesos)

Snack: crackers and cheese, coffee
Dinner: Take-out pizza ($10) from LesAmis (corner of Santiago de Estero and Bolivia), “chopped tomatoes and garlic” not typical, no mozzarella, tons of fresh tomato and raw garlic—whew! Crust was soggy by the time I got it home, but seemed good, probably fated by the tomatoes. Wine.
